BluMatrix is an IT consulting firm pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification. This page outlines how we protect company and client information.
Section 01
Data Storage
- All data is stored on company-managed, encrypted devices or within Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- No client data is stored on personal or unmanaged devices.
Section 02
Encryption
- Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Data at rest is protected via BitLocker (endpoints) and Azure managed encryption (AVD).
Section 03
Access Control
- Access to systems is granted based on role and business need (least privilege).
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enforced for all users.
- Access is reviewed periodically and revoked upon departure or role change.
Section 04
Endpoint Security
- All company devices have endpoint protection and are centrally managed.
- Security patches are applied on a regular cadence.
- Lost or stolen devices can be remotely wiped.
Section 05
Incident Response
- BluMatrix maintains a documented Incident Response Plan.
- Security incidents are investigated and clients are notified as required.
Section 06
Employee Training
All employees complete security awareness training at onboarding and annually.
Section 07
SOC 2 Compliance
BluMatrix is actively pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification covering the Security Trust Services Criteria. Our report will be available to clients under NDA upon request.
